That evening, the Dawsons joined us at our church for the Christmas Eve service, followed by a casual supper at our house.
So casual, in fact, that Sara dined in her Belle costume.
We showed Gigi the cool cowboy rain jacket Miss Meredy gave us (and our new big boy beds!!!).
We lit the Advent candles and recited the Christmas story from Luke 2, which we've been learning during Advent, together (in a most ADD manner, I might add, but we did it nonetheless...)
Sweet cousins.
We wore ourselves out.
