"Thank you, God, for Nana..."

Just a little shout-out to our Nana, who had surgery today. By all accounts she is well, perhaps owing in part to the precious prayers of her granddaughter last night. Hallie said sweetly, "And thank you for Nana..." (And then she raised up off her pillow and in a concerned voice said, "Papa sick, too?" Apparently the thought of two "sick" grandparents was more than she could take.)

We love you, Nana, and are so glad your surgery went well. Take it easy for a little while and we'll try not to be too hard on you when you come to Birmingham in a few weeks!
