We took the big girls to the Children's Theater performance of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. They were very excited....
See? :)
The verdict? Hallie was barely old enough for the play, which meant that Sara was...not. They were both pretty well-behaved and had fun just on principle of being out with the grown-ups. But I'm pretty sure Sara couldn't tell you anything that happened. And Hallie kept saying, "Mommy, why are they yelling so much?" She was particularly concerned about one character who went to the hospital (nevermind that she was a fairly insignificant character--we kept asking about her anyway).
Brooks got to hang out with Gigi, Grumpy, Melissa, and Gray. who kept him out partying late too. Apparently he was perfect and spent a lot of time laughing and reveling in having four adults pay him attention.
As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord.

My favorite part was when a character in the play said something about fire engines coming, and Hallie kept asking when the "Fire Angels" were going to get there.
