For Sara's 5th birthday we invited our sweet female friends for a spa day at a cosmetology school. Perfect for my budding cosmetologist! She loved it and at one point during the party declared it "the best birthday party ever!" This, of course, made her party hostess extremely happy.
(The two little males in the picture below were quickly dismissed to a day at McWane with their daddies. They could only take so much pink!)
The colors for the party were Blush and Bashful. We covered the table with shiny pink wrapping paper (easy to tear off and throw away post-party!) and then decorated with all of Sara's hair, nail, and makeover accessories--which, it turns out, are plentiful.
Our pretty party guests wore their princess or fancy attire for their makeovers.
We got our nails done,
Our makeup done,
And our hair fancified.
The birthday girl likes to get her hair done more than anyone I know.
