Beach Bums

Mama Pat and Grandaddy are roughing it at the beach this month, and they were kind enough to let us join them last weekend for the holiday weekend.  We had a great time.  

We played with A.J., 

We watched movies (specifically, Aristocats--SEVERAL times), 

We spent LOTS of time at the indoor pool, 

(including snack breaks, of course)

We spent time in the hot tub on our balcony...

Where this was our view...

We "played chess"...at least long enough to set up an A.J. photo op as a pawn.

Yep.  Worth it.

We even played in the sand a couple of times, which Brooks loved.

The Boys...

We got pedicures before going out to dinner at the Oyster House.

And witnessed beautiful sunsets.

McWane!

We spent the last day of our holiday break at the McWane Center today, courtesy of the new membership Nana and Papa gave us for Christmas!  We met our friends the Pooles there for a fun day.

I love Sara's face in the below picture.  She was no doubt being splashed by Brooks's insistence on sticking his hands, rather than the balls, into the water spouts.

Oh how I hate that this one is blurry through the glass.  Sweet friends.
