It's my favorite day of the Fall--Pumpkin Patch Day! We loaded up for Old Baker Farm after naptime today and had our usual great time. They really just do such a great job, and the kids love it (almost as much as Mommy loves watching them play there). And the awesome pumpkins on my front porch are just an added bonus!
Gigi, Aunt Melissa, Uncle Austin, and A.J. joined us for the fun this year.
We rode horses,
We looked at the animals in the barn,
(especially the piggies, of course)
We climbed the hay bales,
(where we swung our hips and pretend lasso like a cowgirl...what? you don't do that when YOU climb a hay bale?)
We rode the tractors,
Sat still for one moment so Mommy could snap pictures,
Rode the hayride out to the pumpkin patch,
Picked out some awesome pumpkins,
Rode the swings,
Made goofy faces at A.J. to get him to smile,
Reprised our climb to the summit of hay, with the help of Uncle Austin,
Chilled out on some picnic tables and kicked our cowboy boots in the air,
Watched the farmer feed the calves,
And played in the trailer full of cotton.
A great day as always! Happy Fall!
