Sunday Night Snuggling

Gigi and Grumpy came to keep us company because Daddy went to Houston, and the kiddos cuddled with Grumpy on the couch.

Parent Pizza Picnic--The Grand Finale

Today, after 5 years of attending the annual Parent Pizza Picnic, we went to our last one at the day care.  (Of course, Mommy somehow forgot that the pizza picnic ALWAYS starts at 11:00...NOT 11:30.  But I digress.  And thankfully, I have forgiving children.)

Hallie and her "BFF" Claire...

I realized that I was late because I received a voicemail from Claire's Mommy at about 11:15, letting me know that Hallie was eating with them and was wondering where I was.  Leave it to my girl to (a) remember my phone number and (b) have someone call it to check on me.  Needless to say, I was in quite a harried state by the time I finally arrived to the picnic.  Thankfully, I work nearby.

Here are H and Claire at last year's picnic.

My three picnickers...

Sara with her "Bestest," Emma Parker (it was kinda sunny and squinty)...

And indulge me, if you will, in a walk down memory lane...

Pizza Picnic # 1 (just one little baby girl)...

Pizza Picnic # 2 (with 2 little baby girls)...

Picnic 3 (yep, that's right, our number is up to 3)...

Picnic 4 (phew!  still just 3--but this is the year that Sara lost her mind on me and Jason couldn't accompany me, so it FELT like more than that!)...

It's been a wonderful whirlwind of 5 years.

Wedding

Jason's cousin Cole got married tonight!

Here's Julie with the pretty mother of the groom.

Zoo Day

We went to the zoo this morning with the kiddos.  Charlie and Hallie held hands most of the way through the zoo.

Brooks LOVED the whole thing--particularly the "birdies."

We watched the Sea Lion Show.

(See?)  :)

All Charlie wanted to see was the rhinos!  We were very glad (relieved) that they cooperated.

Charlie took a brief Hallie break to walk with Brooksie.

The gorilla was putting on a show.  This picture needs a caption.  As does the next one.

Avery loves her Uncle Jason, and the feeling is mutual.

We were worn out.

Birthday for "Uncle Ken"

The Heads have been here this weekend, and on Friday night we had birthday dinner with the Bergs, celebrating "Uncle Ken's" 57th!
